PR Training Forums give NGOs new voice

As part of the 20th anniversary business activities of the Ad-comm Group, Trimedia began holding PR training forums for non-government and non-profit organizations in 2008.

Through the Forum, Trimedia aims to make a productive and sustainable contribution to society by empowering professionals in not-for-profit organizations with valuable skills in communication and media relations. The forum will also act as a mutually beneficial networking opportunity between non-profit organizations and individuals from leading corporations and luxury brands seeking partnerships to aid in their societal contribution programs. Trimedia held its first seminar ("Press Releases and Media Interviews") in February and the second ("Crisis Communications") in July, both of which were supported by the non-profit, non-partisan networking NGO, Japan NGO Center for International Cooperation (JANIC). With JANIC's cooperation, the forum is designed to meet the real needs of frontline workers from NPO/NGO organizations. "The forum is a continuation of the corporate philosophy that has been leading the Ad-comm Group since its establishment in 1987," said Ad-comm CEO & President Andreas Dannenberg. "In the group's 20-year history, we have a tradition of supporting charitable organizations in a variety of ways. With the NGO PR Training Forum, we are now preparing the second phase of this socially responsible vision."

Together with the Ad-comm Group, Trimedia will continue supporting NGOs and NPOs by providing them practical and technical know-how. Trimedia is considering offering a media-training session for the organizations in the future.
